    I think it conveys the sense of a very managed waterway, with the various inflow and outflow piping and the Bridg-like construction work on the right.

    The pastel-coloured, flowing forms on the left show the natural beauty of the river and contrast with the idea of it on the right of the picture as a waterway intrinsically useful to meet human needs.

    The dual nature of the river is married together by the unity of the picture itself.

    As before, I believe that a general environmental awareness underpins the piece.
